When you’re not feeling like writing

you can’t write. Period.

I cannot write to save my life, right now.

In Malay Roy Choudhury’s words:

A fine poetry is like an orgasm. You have to allow some foreplay and allow some time before the final finish.”

Malay Da is till date the strangest friend I’ve ever had. He was one of the founder members of the Hungryalist movement in Bengal, an anti-establishment movement fuelled by literature, majorly poetry, that was resilient in nakedness, adamant in a brazen display of intolerable sensitivity. If you manage to go past the apparent veil of sexuality that his poetry resounds with (angering the stale academician to no end), you will perhaps understand why am writing no further.

I’ll give you a hint. You cannot give birth by email. Nine months is what life demands of another life.

And one night is a mere fly in your soup.

Yours Joblessly,

The Jobless Ideator

P.S. – Links to english translations of Malay Da’s poetry are provided under the ‘Blog with Jobs’  tab. Tell me how many of you can read till the last without feeling disgusted and scandalized. I felt the same the first time. Be honest.
